CLUB CODE OF CONDUCT

 

The Field of Play

  • Play within the laws of the game.

  • Be competitive and sportsmanlike.

  • Abide by the decisions of your Manager and/or Coach.

  • No swearing.

  • Accept decisions of the Referee – dissent is unacceptable.

  • The Club will not be responsible for fines incurred by players who receive yellow or red cards for dissent or foul language.

Off the Field of Play

  • Spectators are encouraged to support the team.

  • Only the Manager/Coach will issue instructions from the sidelines – it is confusing to players if spectators try to influence play, however well meaning their intentions.

  • Decisions of Club officials in respect of team selection to be abided with.

  • Match officials to be given due respect and their decisions accepted.

General

  • Be on time for training and matches – advise Managers/Coaches of unavailability at the earliest opportunity.

  • Correct footwear should be worn according to the surface that the player is playing or training on.

  • Shinpads are to be provided and worn by players at all training sessions and matches.

  • Kit and equipment provided by the Club to be looked after and only used for Club purposes.

  • Registration fees and subscriptions to be paid in accordance with laid down requirements. In cases of need or difficulty please refer to the Club Secretary or your Manager/Coach.
